So, it’s grey and rainy today, here in the Nation’s Capital. And yesterday ended up threatening rain and spitting most of the day, which made it sometimes difficult to run the errands I needed to, without worrying that the sky was about to open up above me. Nevertheless, errands were run, and I’m preparing to head out into it once again.
I now have a number of writing assignments in the queue, and something else has exploded this morning, which looks to have the potential to consume my afternoon – once I get back to deal with it. It also looks like I’m going to start getting a pile-up of stories due for two different editors by next Friday. That means getting a head start on things in order to beat the pile-up, right? Oh, if only it worked like that for real.
Otherwise, my only plans this evening revolve around watching the penultimate episode of
Canada’s Next Top Model, and finishing reading this week’s
Hill Times. And, maybe finishing the last episode of
Skins (plus possibly the “ancillary storylines”). We’ll see.
